As promised in my first blog post, I’m sharing with you my 2021 Yearly Goals. I don’t call them resolutions, because resolutions are easy to break and ignore. But goals…..those have steps. Those have meaning. And goals are achievable. Here are mine.
- Physical Health
- Drink water every day, I have a water bottle with every hour marked on the side of it that I fill first thing in the morning and again at noon that gets me 10 8oz drinks of water
- Intermittent Fasting, 12-16 hours daily
- Move my body every day – walk 21 miles a month, that’s 2 loops 2x per day every other day
- Good skin care routine – wash my face morning and night, apply moisturizer both times as well
- Meal plan every Saturday, create health meals and grocery lists
- Mental Health
- Read for at least 21 minutes per day (fiction/non-fiction)
- Journal daily – keep journal next to bed and write about my day before bed, brain dump for better sleep
- Check in with my planner 2x per day (or more if needed) – in the morning to see what’s on deck for the day and before I go to bed to make sure the next day is set and to see what I’ve accomplished for the day
- Remove toxic people from my life as much as possible – surround myself with positive people, minimize my time and energy spent with those that aren’t good for me mental and emotionally
- Check in with friends once a week – phone call, text message, instant message, facetime
- Home
- Declutter weekly – stick to the declutter club steps and work it daily
- Get back to the Fly Lady routines – follow along with Erica and the FB fly lady group
- Finances
- Build Savings – move funds to savings every pay day
- Pay off credit cards – start with highest interest, pay more than minimum amount and don’t use them
- Increase my TSP contribution – increase my allotment into retirement savings
- Spend less – don’t buy what I don’t need and don’t over buy what we do need
- Personal Growth
- Blog post every week – post to my blog Kaz’s Korner every Tuesday
- Read 1 non-fiction book every month (or more) follow personal reading challenge
- Learn a new craft – diamond painting is the craft for this year
- Take one photo of my life every day, share to blog or use for journaling
- Start digital scrapbooking – plan out the scrapbooks I want to create and start building them, make books for each of the kids with memories and journaling
- Follow my personal reading challenge – 3 books per month (2 on the kindle and 1 audible) in the genre for that month. Audible books are only for walks
