Pull up a chair and pour yourself a cup of tea. Welcome to my corner. Here I’ll share what I’m passionate about and some things that I’m not so sure about. I want this to be a conversation with you. Let me tell you a story about this crazy ride called life that I’m on right now.
Life loves to throw us all curve balls from time to time just to make sure we’re paying attention. One of those curve balls came last March, about a week after I returned home from a week long training trip away. Suddenly, we were told to pack our desks up with whatever we thought we might need to work from home for a couple weeks. We did just that and off we went, to spend a couple weeks working from home and looking forward to no commutes and pj’s all day. Well, those two weeks have now turned into 10 months and we have no idea when we’ll be back in the office. Not that I’m complaining but at times I do miss my co-workers and being able to get out of the house.
So, you’re wondering what I’m passionate about? I love reading, cooking, painting, scrapbooking, cross stitch and my family. Not in the that order, but you get the idea. I have made my goals list for 2021 (I’ll share that on another blog post) and this blog is one of my goals. My goal is to post every Tuesday (I’m accountable to my friend Erica, so she’ll keep me on point).
A tiny little explanation about my name for those that know me by my real name of Karen. Since my name now has such negative ideas attached to it, I’ve decided to go by the nickname that our British friend gave me, Kaz. I like it……it’s sort of jazzy…..lol. At least it’s fun which is the point of this whole blog. In these unsettled times, where we’re all worried, stressed and witnessing historical events in the making, inserting a little bit of fun into our lives is a necessary thing.
